The red onion is called a Spanish Onion and it awesome in salads of as a garnish. This is the borrom part of the red skinned onion showing us the fibrous roots.

Today I start a week long macro theme with one vegetable. Seven macros with one veggie.
I'm thinking about suggesting this as a week long side challenge. The challenge would last 1 week and you must photograph the same veggie or fruit for that week. What do you think? Any suggestions?
