 some deep shit;)
and i know some of you are gonna say "hey, thats not Peter Pan" !
and i cant but agree
but i just thought it might fit somehow;)
o yes for one possibly interested,actually its the trunk/roots of a tree, i pimped it a little with some fancey colours and slight texture


Sad Peter Pan

it's the plan of most
to discover that magnificent ghost
when did I get perverted
and my innocent eyes diverted
from the view so grand
imbued with distractions

I'm greedy like Senior Babbitt
I'm just chasing that electic rabbit
I'm a reluctant rebel
I just want to be Aaron Neville
with a crown on my head
and my denim shirt all dark with sweat

I'm just pushing the paint around
on advice from your lying mouth
you touched me and then you ran
and left some sad Peter Pan
all alone and awkward
but a transformation, I swear it will occur

thats so kool you picked my fav pic from lately
i really like what you got out of it and how you put that in words
also i think we feel about the same regarding this 'creature' wich is always kind of a relief ;)

I am not your monster
Take your eyes off me

Grant me a little respect
And a smidge of dignity

I know it is alarming
That my face is so disarming

The beauty that is eminating

I love trying to see recognizable features in roots and trees, like clouds only different :-) This is nice! Reminds me of the face they gave John Hurt in the movie 'elephant man'; sad story, seems to fit your poem.
