At least it's nice to see that people are using the garbage can rather than the trail! Probably was knocked over by some wildlife.. those filthy animals! ;-)
About the photo, I think your coposition is well-done, but I'm not sure the black and white treatment adds anything to it. Whatever you used to desaturate it kinda flatteneds everything out. It needs some contrast or channel-mixing or something to give it some depth (I am not that experienced with b&w processing, so I'm not sure really what tools are the best). That said, I think it would have been nice to try it in colour as well. |

That's sad how the garbage can is just laying on it's side and no one's helping to stop and pick it up. |

Shows pollution well with all that rubbish tipped over but I think you may need a little curves/levels adjustment. |

The crop seeems to be slightly too tight.. maybe going backwards and getting more of the location or leaning in further would have helped.. |
