 These are watercolour pencils. I am always fond of art supplies that come in their own sturdy box, probably because I'm so hard on them!

Your use of DOF leads the eye in to the image. I find it interesting that the paint on the pencils is so uniform in a monochrome sort of way. Colored pencils with monochromatic bodies.
