 The background is blue paper, used red in my flash. No lights on. Then I just panned from top to bottom in 4 secs.
Made levels adjustment, there are no true blacks so I got to darken it some. Did selective colors changing red to more orange and blue to more violet, then some curves for saturation. Ran some NI over it and dat about it man.

Just enough blur to meet the challenge, but a good job. I think you have a combination of out of focus and camera shake going on here.

I love love love the color choice here. Just the right amount of bluriness, it would look good as a nice large print for sure.
