 Yet another shot of the metal grillework above the Caldecott Tunnel. This time, a semi-inverted RGB Curve was able to bring out the edges, and allowed me to colorize the image to resemble bamboo. The pointy shapes in the right half gave me the impression of ranks of missiles; the way the tones fade across the image gave me the feeling of something hidden being slowly revealed. I guess it seemed topical given some recent news reports of China's increased military spending.

Maybe there's too much order for this particular challenge, but it's blurry and ir references a messy situation ...

Bold, noisy and overdone -- so you've achieved "messy". Blurry enough too. I like the pattern. Nice work!

Not exactly a blurry mess and seems very organized. I do like the image but does not meet what I expected for this challenge.

I would guess that what you're trying to imply is what is behind the curtain is blurred but I'm not quite getting that.
