Very nice composition and clarity. The colors are nice too. I'd use photoshop on the dog's tongue a bit to remove the shadow and saliva bubbles. Other than that, the photo is great. 8

Excellent Photo! Looks like the dog ate one of my HOT Chili's! Isn't the Dogs magazine a verticle format instead of a horizontal format?

Porportions don't fit fo r a magazine cover. A vertical shot with alittle action would have helped, especially for a very active breed of dog.

nice dog! excellent focusing (eyes/nose) but the format isn't perfect magazine

I like the dog's expression, but I can't really see it a a magazine cover. The background seems distracting. Focus is nice, good color. Composition seems wierd.

Wow! This is an awesome shot. This is top quality and pitch perfect. I'm going to give you a high mark; however, you may find others will mark you down for having a horizontally cropped image instead of a vertically cropped image. IT seemed to be an issue in the last magazine challenge.
