Taken in IR with my converted canon 350D. It was a cold, rainy day and the tree reflected in the pool of water in the field. I wanted the tone to emphasize the drab feeling of loneliness.

This is lovely. Loneliness, yes, but not in a sad way to me - kind of more a sentinel keeping watch sort of thing. Loneliness with a purpose. The tones are excellent. I like the contrast of the browns in the sky and the blues on the ground.

Love the tones on this one and the very spareness of the photo. What is really cool is even though the subject elements take a minimalist approach the texture of the ground and the sky add so much. Wonderful lines with the water.
