 I am hoping that the strawberry looks apetizing enough. Up here in the great white north it is tough to get good ones at this time of year.

Shot with a mickeymouse set up in the basement. One white lightning unit bounced into an umbrella, with the white background and a white somewhat white wall to the camera right adding some bounce fill.

I had to crop the fork because I could not get rid of the blown out hotspot from the flash, and since this is basic editing I could not fix it, so I cropped it.

After all that I do not even eat strawberries so they will now be thrown out...I will eat the chocolate sauce though!

Prediction is low 6's.

Silverware, as many discovered, is a nightmare with flash! This shot made me hungry when voting. I was suddenly craving chocolate covered strawberries... (and I do eat the strawberries!) As you've discovered, some folks really don't like colored borders. It's a matter of personal taste. Overall well balanced, well composed - the crop of the fork worked just fine.

Love the composition & lighting a very nice capture. The border was a bit of a distraction or me, a lighter red maybe.

At first glance, the composition is great. But, there appears to be a high degree of posterization in the reds of the strawberry.
