 Patch of California Poppies on the South side of a hill. The north side was devastated by the Witch fire last October along with hundreds of homes. Funny how it can look so beautiful and peaceful right next to tragedy.

California poppies do not have an aroma, so there was not a smell here other than normal outside plant odors.

Wow I like ll of these images as they remind me of spring..... I like to havwe see a little more blue to the rule of thirds maybe..... Still an awesome image and thanks for sharing them with us.....

I get the picture, these beautiful flowers go on forever. What a wonderful sight to behold. Thanks for showing the macro to the big picture. Do these flowers have a smell to them?
