Rob, this is beautiful. I'm glad, in a way, that we've lost power at home. This is forcing me to sit at my husband's work and comment. If it hadn't happened I probably would not have found your "gem" until much later.
Beautiful. So glad you had the vision to capture the birds in flight and the beautiful texture of the tree.
Your background paper really works wonderfully. |

Wonderful poem! The crumpled paper texture works great on this image, and I really like the light border. I love that the image subjects are dark while the text is nearly transparent, giving us just a hint. Excellent combination! |

My only suggestion would be to someone let us see that last line just a bit more. It's the unifying factor. |

this is really very nice. everything works well together, and is more a whole than before. i think i find the paper texture a tiny bit too strong. it's still a great photo. |

p.s. I like that you doubled the words. I think you should do that even more overtly. |

beautiful image. a poet once told me that birds are letters on the page of sky.
maybe you're hiding your words too much. perhaps certain fragments should stick out more. maybe even relineate your poem so certain words appear in certain places. |

I think it suits the category wonderfully. I like the wrinkled paper. The silhouette of the bare tree and birds is classic. I love the last line of the poem. |
