 A few Raw adjustments: leveled horizon, curves, noise reducton, contrast.
PS adjustments: cropped, cloned dust and stray pixels, USM to increase sharpness. Added border.

The disc of the sun is almost hypnotic - can't seem to look away from it. The red around it contributes to the impact, and the tree and the clouds complete the photo so well. My choice for Blue ribbon.

Great timing! I love how that wisp of cloud is in front of the sun. Nice balance to this with the natural top/btm framing.

It's looks like a Lion King set. Nice capture. I normally like to comment on what I would change in a photo but I can't find anything I would change in this one. I'm bumping up my vote.
