Seemed to be the 'logical' choice seeing as I am totally surrounded by the stuff.
After the dissaster of submitting a test image into free study (rollover happened so fast im used to UK rollover time) I thought I would try to redeem myself in the members challenge.
This 'SHOULD' do quite well I think, it has great tones and fits the challenge so very well

Cool shot. I really dig the tones. Really like the composition. I agree with david_c, pitty about the shadow but can be cropped out for a wide landscape crop, would work really great for this one too. I like the surfer in the shot too btw.
I like the sunlit portion of the ocean, the part near the shore is a little dark but what are you going to do. The guy body surfing a little distracting.
