Whoa, I never saw this one! Whatta shot! Love the processing, strong but not overstated. Great use of the WA effect without cartoonish distortion. Just really nice work. Bummer to hear he's been murdered :-( |

Dunno why you are so shocked by being 6th, its an amazing shot that deserves to be up there, I actually had this pegged for a top 5, so only 1 out :)

I like the perspective and composition in this. I truly hope you weren't really that close to this animal (that can be dangerous). It is nicely done and you will probably score well. For me, though, I don't like the HDRish look to the grasses. |

looks like this was taken with a really wide angle lens. Not sure I'm crazy about the distortion in the head. Otherwise a lovely shot. |
