 I took this photo of the sun peeking through the clouds just before sunset one evening. I just happened to walk outside and look over to see the sun behind the trees like this. It was kind of hazy behind the clouds so it was just covered enough that I could look at it without hurting my eyes.

To edit the image I adjusted the contrast and the brightness. I also decreased the blue and green hues and increased the red hues to bring out the sun better. This is my first free study entry so I am curious as to how well this will do!

There are so many great shots in this challenge, this one among them, so simple and so well done. The color, the bare trees, the translucent clouds, well done.
