The sky really was purple, although the saturation increased when I bumped the contrast.

It's so pretty to see the color like this, especially since everything around me is white right now. I love the dramatic clouds too.

I love the purple/twilight tone you brought out. I really adds to the drama and compliments the monument. Wonderful composition.

Excellent work; I can ususally' take it or leave it' as far as city scapes over water go, ut this one really impressed me - certainly brings something new to the genre.

I'm going to hazard a guess and wonder if this is Jeff and either the most fabulous DC evening or purple gradient mapping ;) In any case lovely shot. The colour is magical but doesn't look too artificial (well, maybe just a bit in the really dark clouds) and the reflections add plenty of interest.

Oh, pretty {{{purples}}} Can't say that I've ever seen the DC sky quite that color, but I like it.
