 Bought a new toy today - Many thanks to Jane stargazer05766 for giving me some great information on this lens and the confidence to go and buy it - and also to Lisa lentil for telling me about Discount Digital Photographics at North Sydney - I not only saved about $800 but got an international warranty to boot. - Thanks guys

That sounds like a good deal you got there. I wish I could have saved $800 on some lenses I have bought Ken...lol I hope you enjoy your new toy immensely.
