colour on colour?
I don't see how this fits the challenge

The focus could be a little sharper. The color depth on some portions (the elephant's snout) are a little too shallow so much of the detail and wimsy is lost.

Sorry; this was a DNMC for me. If it had been just the monkey figure on the green background; or the other three critters on a peachy background, I would likely have voted this one much higher.

I like the variety in color.

I don't think this meets the challenge very well, there is too much color to distnguish the face to the background.

This doesn't meet the objective at all. The toys are pink, orange, blue, and white, while the background is green. With that many subjects it is a bit distracting.

cute picture but does not meet the challenge

I apreciate the colourful concept, but it doesn't quite meet the challenge criteria. That aside, the main technical issue I see with this is that it seems you focused somewhere between the dogs ear and the elephant's eye, which makes the front guys' faces just a bit soft. I would try a bit smaller of an aperture to increase dof.

I think you may not have read the details of the challenge.

This is way to random and doesn't really have two or more things with one complementary color up next to eachother. It is also too blurry, backing up and just cropping it down would have been a good idea. I do like how you didnt have alot of negative space and the lighting is good, not flat at all.

Shouldn't the background be orange/red?
02/27/2008 01:27:55 PM
For me this isn't what the challenge was about..I think you need to either concentrate on ONE color or have the background match up very well, and this shot does neither.

Too many different colours IMHO

Not enough green in the foreground.
