Shouldn't there be a rule against using such beautiful subjects in these challenges? Lol.
Great lighting, great subject with a great expression, but it's alittle too soft around her cheeks and neck - especially on her left side. I would have liked to see her whole head, sharper eyes, and the backlight raised a tad bit.
A really nice photo though. |

| Perfect example of the debate over "color". After all the noise and BS there is still a great photograph to enjoy. The B&W flavor is prevalent without being exclusive. The color is necessary. Nice job. |

| Either go with sharper relief or softer focus. This seems to right in the middle and it gives the impression of being oof. |

Its a beautiful protrait, but it doesnt feel like B&W to me. I would have used this for the color on color challenge.
OK, I came back to it.. I really like this portrait, so Im going to up my score. 7 |

| This is a color picture. "Almost" meeting the challenge is not the same as meeting it. A small spot of color in a mostly black and white picture may be unavoidable, but this is mostly color. |
