YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Just home from Wembley Stadium for the Carling Cup Final, which we won :)
Took my camera with but only my 15mm fisheye because it's the least pro looking gear, thinking that if I dared to take anything bigger I'd get hassled by security. My friend offered to take the shot but I said that I had to do it, it being a SP...hence my arms in shot. Attendance was 87,000 for the game and we were sitting 14 rows from the pitch in the best seats in the house. If I had my 100-400 with me I'd have been able to get the most amazing shots, especially when both teams walked within 20ft of me to collect medals and the cup, and then again on the balcony celebrating. It drove me bananas that there were amazing shots everywhere and I had the widest, most inappropriate lens with me. I should probably have gone with the 17-40 as better but still relatively benign, but the red ring tends to alert the heavies.
Oh yes, shot this in P mode...forgot to change ISO....so this is the best of a bad blurry bunch of wide angle crap.
Anyhow..I'm rambling...COME ON YOU SPUUUUUUUUURS :)

| as cool as this is,and as a sports fan believe me ITS WEMBLEY, ITS FRIGGIN KOOL! but...of all the shots of that day we get the one showing the flag corps girls on the field(pitch),are you sure this wasnt what was really happening? an all girls flag corps championship? lol,just bustin your bollocks dude! way neat shot all in all,great focus on that great crooked shnoz too,wow! yours is worse than mine mabe...i dunno mines pretty crooked too lol.now im rambling ha! go Hotspurs! |
