 Early Saturday morning we found this wonderful looking bird, we think that it might be a Cooper’s Hawk. He had just caught a pigeon in the neighborhood and after I took some pictures he flew off into out neighbor’s tree with his catch. We live a very urban area and were very excited to see him. I guess I could have cloned out the pigeon feather in his mouth and on his leg but wanted to leave him just as he was - very proud and protective.
Rotated, resized, cloned some pebbles from the ice, saved for web.

This happened in my backyard I watched a hawk tear a poor bird apart. Grisly

great shot, but the contrast on the bird needs a bit of a hike...it looks washed out...the blacks are a browny colour (look at the background)
