 used my 10-stop ND, and took on a dreary overcast day to minimize the adjustments to get BW look. minimal processing - opened RAW in CS3, with slight tweaks to black level and exposure. layer for levels, curves. cloned out some dust spots, a line hanging from the wharf, and a small piece of vegetation in the bottom right corner. crop, resize. USM at large radius. hue/sat layer reducing master saturation by 10%, and blue by 20% (not large changes). save for web.

great stillness of the water in this exposure! Did you try shooting this without the city in the background as it distracts me a little.
