| Oh, yeah, when they get all puffy in the throat like that, that's the territorial call. Once had one never let me pass without dive-bombing my head a few times - admirable birds, they have a goal in life and they go great guns for it. :) I really like this composition, with enough reeds scattered lightly around the frame to hold the eye, but not so much to keep that little guy from standing out. |

| BEAUTIFUL. I love the single bird with the open mouth. k What a wonderful job. And the title is perfecto. I'm such a fan of silhouettes. Great use of neg. space. YAY - faving this one. |
