 one of the many, many flowers out in our garden. my wife has a green thumb and loves to grow and experiment with all kinds of flowers.

Wow, that is one cool flower!!! I love the golden tone against the darker green background.

Edit: This almost looks like a molded wax flower.

When I first saw this I didn't think it was a real flower. I don't know if you shot it outdoors or brought it in, but good job on the lighting. Have you tried this as a square crop?

A rose on steroids???? Whatever it is, it has a beautiful symmetry, and the bokeh really sets it off well.

I cannot even imagine what this may be. It looks like it should be in a hot house at the Botanic Gardens or something! Nice macro shot.
