 This is Tiwa, a Timber wolf/Husky cross. She's quite a difficult lady to photograph, but I got this one at 200mm by calling her after she sat to rest.

The scene naturally lent itself to b/w, but I had to clone out a little spot of "yellow snow" in the background (made by her).

Processing steps:
- Cropped (using the rule of thirds)
- Cloned out "yellow" spot on snow in background
- Boosted shadows (global histogram)
- Selectively blurred background
- Selectively sharpened face and upper torso
- Dodged the eyes to make them more striking
- Resized
- Added frame

I feel that this would have more impact if the snow where white, as it is now is seems to have a blue tint and I white balance correction might have helped.
