Simple table top setup, really... with a single light, and a bent piece of foil to reflect the color back into the coins. I'm kinda jazzed about this one. Had another entry in this challenge shot and submitted, and then this idea hit me. (Copper is a color, right? What color is a penny?)

I'm simply shocked that this didn't score higher. One of my top10.

Great pic.

I think the composition could be stronger, but I really like the shiny copper on copper color scheme. Nice.

Neat concept! I feel the composition could be a tad more interesting.

The contrast between the textures of the pennies and the filings make this a well captured photograph. The values on the pennies also contributes to the quality of the photograph.

Nice brilliant copper color here. I heard the other day that it now cost more to make a penny than its valuation as a currency.

The colors are fabulous and the values in them are really nice. This is one of my favorites i just think it looks alittle too staged, maybe a few more pennies leading out of the frame would put this at a ten for me (intead of a 9.9999999) but who knows i could be wrong.

I'm thinking one of the pennies should have been head's up
