This frangipani was seemingly just a dead branch when I picked up on a building site. It was about a foot long. I brought it home and stuck it in a pot, left it the full sun, watered it occasionally and presto!! It's been in the pot for about two years now. This is the first time it's flowered.
what a wonderful joy to come out in the yard and find your bloom...really like your picture...the colors and tones are so very rich and soft, yet sharp in focus...
That's amazing that you brought it back from near death. Nice, clean picture, and white/yellow really stands out well against the background. For some reason this flower looks really fragrant.
I love the Frangipani or plumeria, they are such wonderful flowers to look at, photograph, smell and make leis out of. Thanks for bringing on the Aloha Greg.
How cool is that! You must have a green thumb - aren't you a Taurus? That's a Taurus thing. Lovely photo - great detail. I don't know if they have a scent, but from your photo I imagine they do.
