I like the abstractness of this and the shapes, I think it would benefit from some more contrast and shame the back towers seem a bit soft

Probably already been said BUT I love those lines and how they lead to the other part of the bridge. I also think it's cool how you have that one line leading out to the right, making you wonder what else there is to see.

lol at all the leading lines comments :) Just went and checked your submission, guess the voters just saw a baby and not a 20 foot baby? am sure this would have scored higher.

Nice geometric lines in this unusual but pleasing composition. Love the sky though it always shows up sensor dust, can just spot one ickle bit here so you have a nice clean sensor :)

Overhead cables impress by detail and perspective: I feel I am being whooshed along to the support tower. Shading in the sky enhances this aspect.

Love the lines in tis shot inconjuction with the perspective. I might push the contrast a bit but thats just a matter of taste.

I LIKE this one, and I agree. . .you must have a really good one for the challenge if it's better than this one :) The lines make such an appealing abstract form. I like the texture in the lines -- they add nice interest.

Nice geometric shot. My eyes follow the guide wires right to the top of the bridge. Actually, that's not quite right... they tend to go from the bridge to the top of the photo where the wires are more pronounced. Seems opposite of what we are taught to expect, so I mention it.

Hmmmm, I just noticed that when I scrolled down I cut off the top half of the photo and then my eyes traveled to the point.

Unique vantage point here. Not your typical shot - I like that. Geometric shots like this often do well with a little bump in contrast.

Excellent detail in the lines, and a rather unusual composition. Looks to have been a very blue sky day which lends itself to that deep gradient of gray in the sky.

Good work. Love the lines & textures in the cables and the tones in the sky. It does make you wonder what happens beneath the two towers. It'd be interesting to see the original capture to see what other cropping opportunities exist.

was this cropped from a larger image? i feel like i want to see more of the actual bridge, but thats nit-picking. i like the lines of the cables and how they are lighting well from one side so you can see the indiviual wraps and strands. tones and contrast are spot on. nice caputre.
