you need a slower shutter speed to show more motion for panning.

This is a really cool image, but there is no real panning expressed. Maybe if the cars were flying by or something.

For panning the background is supposed to be blurry and the subject be in focus to make the feeling of motion. you didn't use panning in any way in this shot.

A good shot, but no panning.
02/19/2008 09:43:52 AM
Background should be much blurier

Do you ever see guys on bikes in snow storms like that and think that maybe they got a DUI and that's why they have to ride a bike and the winter weather? Isn't that awful of me.

There is not enough movement in the picture, creating a focused background, which doesn't meet the object of panning. Nice idea though.

Nice composition, but I don't see it as panning, sorry.
02/17/2008 09:50:50 PM
where is the panning motion?
02/17/2008 06:14:35 PM
I find the majority of your image is in focus, with no motion blur. I don't see panning motion. I see some DOF decreasing the sharpness. Pleasing shot to the eye, but not a panning shot to me.

The entire photo is focused and does not look like panning. The pic is great, with good contrast, if it was in another challenge.

The panning effect is not evident. Try a longer shutter to accentuate the feeling of motion.

Doesn't appear to be any panning involved. But a nice photo otherwise

I don't see any panning here...shutter speed was too fast...

Sorry, but I don't see panning in this image...

nice
02/13/2008 06:48:37 PM
not much panning ... slower shutter speed would have worked better
02/13/2008 05:33:10 PM
Nice picture, but there doesn't really seem to be any panning effect.
