Cute shot. With the merry-go-round you probably could have gotten away with a longer shutter to accentuate the motion. Still, the panning effect is very clear here.

Is it really panning if you aren't moving the camera? :)
Nice photo, cute girl. I really like the positioning in the frame even though she is moving out of the frame she is facing inward and I think that works very well. I would like to see a little more light on her face but realize that would be hard to do.
