 This is a replica of the Endeavour at Sea World, Gold Coast. BW conversion used 200% red channel, minus 100% green channel for maximum seperation of the clouds from the sky. The red flag was manually touched back to the original straight BW, so it's not completely white (it was red to start with). Used a blurred overlay layer for some soft-focus, some manual burning, and selective Luko Sharpening on the final resized image. I haven't quite achieved the result I was looking for, but it's pretty close.

The conversion is very good - very rich tones and excellent contrast without being too contrasty. Great detail as well.
