 Today we left early for our biweekly drive to Michigan to pick up Taylor. So we rushed out of the house "early" (11AM!) so we could go to a museum. Our two hour trip ended up taking nearly four hours due to icy, snowy conditions. So no museum and just the ride up there. wickee_one used a picture of one of the many crashes for her SOL.

I went outside but the windchill was -20F and I didn't have boots and the snow was deep so back inside. The cat was my victim, but at least it was not annoying me. Then it was another 4+ hour trip home, except this time in the dark.

Love the softness. You really managed to capture the fuzziness of her fur just like it is in real life. The green eyes pop nicely against the darker colors on her face.

BEAUTIFUL eyes!! sounds like you guys had a good day, depsite the yucky weather and the travel conditions...at least you jjad company to help the time go by less boringly!

I just adore this kitty portrait ! I'm glad you chose the cat as your victim ! I just shoot the birds thru the window (a no no in a pro's world !)

Also meant to say how much this reminds me of my Max- who died last summer- so thanx, Ken ...

OMG, what an awesome cat photo! Her face looks like my cat's face. She is a pretty little calico too. I love the soft dreaminess of her fur, and that attitude in her pose. Cats are so darn photogenic. No wonder we love to resort to them when all else fails. And they are always such a treat :)

Well, first of all, this is a beautiful cat portrait - soft with good detail, interesting angle. Really pretty.

Then - your trip, that doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun. All this snow business is not for me. Glad you made it home safely. It was like an odyssey, I'm sure.
