Here is a photo of the setup...

Lighting 2 Vivitar 283s one connected to my time machine and the other optically slaved.

If you didn’t get the title it was in reference to Dr. Harold Edgerton, a pioneer of high-speed photography and the practical inventor of the modern strobe.

This image was not nearly the best of the session, but emphasized the reflections the best. Here are a few out takes...

Congratulations! You have the #2 most under rated photo of the challenge. That deserves a special award don't you think? I would give 1st most under rated to holding what you cannot reach and 3rd to Kitchen, but hey, that's just my humble opinion.

Thanks for such a thought provoking entry.

I wonder if this is another awesome IreneM shot. If not, it's worthy of her awesome drop shots. This is SO 10 I wish there were a knob that went up to 11. Great photo.

Doc would be pleased - at least with the acknowledgement for once in a while.

Even though I can never, ever, ever get this perfect of a capture of milk or water drops, I'm going to be brave and give a bit of criticism ... hope you don't mind. For me, the light is just too harsh. It's an amazingly perfect drop shot though ... I just wish it could've been with much softer light.
