 | Not hugely proud of this but I tried something a bit different and it didn't work out the way I expected. I wanted to shoot something more naturally reflected than another London cityscape reflected in the Thames (easy and nice eye candy but no learning). So, I went to Hyde Park to shoot boaters on the Serpentine - but there were no boats. Sunset came and I was in luck, but the angle from the bridge meant that lining up trees on the bank was nearly impossible - so there's a lot of crowding going on (unlike buildings which are so much easier). I HDR'd this image from 3 exposures on 2 stop AEB and had the option to bring out more detail in the shadow of the bank but it looked really weird and artificial so I left it partially silhouetted and brought out the greens in the grass to compliment the sky. It still looks a bit weird though.
PP: HDR from jpgs, levels, small crop to remove a branch at the bottom right, selective levels to push colours, noise ninja, border, resize, usm, save for web.

Post Challenge: 5.4...not good. Wasn't a great photo. Must try harder...
