 Well, he wasnt despairing, but he was in pain - laying on a cold floor, his ribs were hurting:P This wasnt a planned pose, I think he was about to stand up but I told him to freeze:P I really love the mood of this image and I'll still love it when it bombs (like most of my entries):D

Great concept! The floor looks a little dirty which is distracting to me. I love everything else about the shot. Good luck.

btw, after looking at this for another moment it struck me that this would be a great shot to do looking down on someone in a similar pose against something like the vietnam memorial wall (which I think is also reflective). Just an afterthought.

Emotive! I really like the pose, and it is very dramaatic in b&w. The reflection didn't turn out so good; nice try.

Glad you decided to leave the dust on the smooth floor rather than clean it up. It adds to an already very emotional image. Only one niggle, and that's probably pure jealousy on my part - it seems like part of the hand is blown, which distracts me a bit. But over all, very, very nice!
