Error 99 showed up on my camera when my transmitter/receiver stopped working for my lighting. Freaked me out..thought it was my camera and was going to have to buy a new one. Took a few shots without the transmitter on my camera and it worked fine so I bought a new transmitter and receiver but didn't get it in time for the "eye" challenge.

I did get a few shots but the post processing I did to it would make it illegal in the basic challenge, but I thought it might help some folks who don't have good lighting with their portraits.

CS2 post processing
`Converted to b/w
`Used Photo filter to convert to sepia tone.
`Cloned the bright spots off her nose, eyes and cheeks...her lips were also very dry so I softened them up with the clone tool also.
`selected the dark areas around her eyes, nose and mouth, used feather (5-10) and lighted them to match the other skin tones
`Used vignetting
`Contrast and brightness to my liking
`cropped, resized and sharpened

Very nice work! This is the area I have the most trouble with - "seeing" the potential in a photograph by knowning what can be done in post processing. This is an excellent example of a very good shot compositionally made very VERY good with processing. Thanks for sharing!

That is an amazing transformation. If I saw the color version first without seeing the sepia version, I would have loved it, thinking the sweet softness made it perfect. But then seeing the sepia version causes an involuntary "WOW!" I love the texture and light. A keeper very much indeed!
