 I had a wonderful evening of sushi with friends from work last night.

I don't need sympathy for the next part it is just an explanation for the shot of the cane.

I did however hit my heel 4 times yesterday on various furniture and was awarded the Gouty Arthritis price for all my accidents. Gout shows up in me in the achilles tendon now and makes bending the ankle excruciatingly painful thus the need for the cane today. I had a horrible nights sleep waiting for morning to get some food to take Advil with. I am better now but it sucks having this.

That looks like an older cane, neat. With it leaning against the books I pictured someone sitting down to enjoy a good book.

Sorry to hear about your physical issues :-( But gotta admit, I'm sure jealous of you living on Kaua`i.... the Hawaiian islands are about my favorite place on earth :-)

oh dear!..acting up again is it? that stinks...how doyou get your massage work done as you hobble around??? too bad baout the advil bothering your belly..keep some prilosec and bread in the house for these emergencies!!
