very well done, erik. before i even read the description, i could tell there was something going on and suspected those were all the same people and dog and it was time-lapse. i'm scared to try that technique just yet, but it's one of my goals. it's a lovely scene and i like how that one tree on the left has a little different colour to it than the rest of the scene.

Awesome contrast between the trees there. Perhaps some editing could be done to give the clouds some mood, a bit of dodge and burn maybe?

Eric, what I find most fascinating about this photo is that it the right and left halves look like two different scenes. Other than the road, it looks like a combination of two pictures. Brown tree and water/rocks on one side, path and parklike dormant trees on the other. I'd probably prefer just one person/dog rather than the duplicated version. Good lines throughout, colors muted which is appropriate for a winter landscape.

If i see this right-- there was one runner and a couple with a dog. correct?? And maybe one other person top right? It's hard to figure out the sequence... In the nearest frame it looks like the couples dog jumped at the runner but the couple is not close by. Interesting...

Erik, I like this photo a lot, it's very moody. The colors are just perfect for a winter lndscape. I love how the color of the orange tree is repeated in the foreground rock and grass. There are strong lines that lead the eye through the image.

I am not too hot about the two trees on the right -- they seem a bit heavy, although they do balance the foreground rocks quite nicely. The people are repeated too many times for my liking, they make the photo a bit crowded.
