This poster contains a small selection of the images I took in 2007 of our fantastic sunrises and sunsets here in New Mexico. I have a lot of pretty shots so it was hard to choose, but most of these had been shown on TV by our local CBS affiliate in the weather portion of the news broadcast, so I included them.
Oh, and the 16x20 poster is now hanging in the Socorro tourism department building :-) They're asking about a series of postcards.... cha-ching!
Wow - those are beautiful. New Mexico skys are also loved by astronomers. My hubby does astro imaging and we spent a long weekend a couple years back in New Mexico at an imaging place in the hills north of White Sands. Can't remember the name. Lovely collage.
Just noticed in your profile you teach astronomy! So now I understand your fascination with skies.
This is a wonderful compilation! Have you had it printed to hang? I bet it looks gorgeous full size. And 'grats on getting them shown on TV - that's quite the accomplishment!
