I was shooting downtown and this guy came across (a very busy) street in a beeline for me.

I thought there will now be some complaint about me photographing a stupid building. But he stood and stared at me instead. I know I'm gorgeous and all... But I said, do you want me to take your picture?

He said - I have one of those (meaning the camera) at home. Allrighty. He was really dirty and had this City of Phoenix jacket and cap. Overall non-threatening. So I took his photo and he smiled pretty for it.

Then I proceeded to fuss with this photo endlessly. I mean, it's not that fantastic that it would warrant as much time as I put in it.

Finally I converted it to BW with Virtual Photographer and used some filter on it to make it look grainy and old. Voila.

That's an interesting story, and he does seem harmless enough. Now wouldn't it be something if he actually is a famous photographer! Your processing certainly does give it that old photo feeling.

Neat story. It is amazing the attention a camera can draw. He kind of reminds me of a trucker.

I think you all are being a little hard on this guy!! It's not his fault how he turned out....plus he looks a little like my biological father....so back off ;) j/p

Seriously though, I think you did a great job turning an otherwise "ugly" photo into an interesting one!

Good conversion. In light of Hotpasta's recent experience, I suspect you may have been a little anxious.
