I like that the colors are not over done. The only thing that maybe could improve on it would be something in the foreground to grab the focus (like such a great sunset isn't enough). |

I like the swirly, darker clouds.. they add something for me in the picture.. though I wish they were more centered.. They would have become a little like leading lines and enter the viewer in...
Other then that this is a pretty picture with nice colours.. the scores just show they're are a lot of pretty pictures around.. |

Well, I'll just throw another completely different opinion in here ;-)
I Like the water and the rays you got from the sun, so I would crop out a lot of the sky and get the sun more or less in the upper right ROT position. That makes the diagonal in the clouds more distinct by cropping out most of the amorphous one on the right, and also emphasizes the diagonal reflection of the clouds in the water so everything kind of converges toward the right horizon. |

Looks pretty good. It's got the great colors and swoopy clouds that always seem to do so well here. My thinking is that sunsets are so easy to obtain impressive shots from that people here don't rate them as high anymore unless they stand out in some special way.
I don't think the horizon is too centered. However, if a little more had been cropped from the bottom, that might draw the eye to those awesome clouds a little more. I happen to like the black cloud. I think it adds a little more interest but being dark, it does not draw excessive attention away form the sunset.
The horizon line seems curved downward in the middle slightly. Not much, but it's obvious and a little unnatural looking. If it were curved upward in the middle that would look ok, because it's what you expect from a wideangle lens.
I didn't vote on this one, but I would have probably given it a 6 or maybe a 7.

I liked this, but only gave it a 6. The big black smudge of cloud on the right was what was too much for me. It conflicted too much w/ the colors and mood of the rest of the shot. |

lol I hardly think this is overdone. methinks maybe someone has not been at DPC long enough. I love the arched and flowing clouds and how it looks like they are going to move out of the frame. Beautiful colors in the sun and sky. I love the reflection as well. Pretty scene! |

The ISO you've used here hurts the image quality a little - such a pity you couldn't have used a tripod. To me, the shot looks very natural and peaceful and not 'overdone' at all. Nicely done. |

No offense, this picture is beautiful but it's overdone. |

Very nice colours, and subtle composition. |
