This photo was taken in my Dad's garage. He's building a crib for our second child and had just set the clamps to dry the joints. There was a work light hanging above the crib that seemed to work great for the lighting.

Lovely lighting, would be great if you could comment on your setup after the voting. Shame about the green clamp though as it is spoils the colour scheme and is the odd one out.

Lovely woodwork, and the silhouetted bars work well. I can't stop wishing the lighting was better, but I can't think what to suggest.

I wish there was more space in this photo.. the crib and metal clamps are interesting.. but the composition doesn't really convey any feeling.. if you used this same object and placed it in the corner of a dark room with a single lightsouce shinning on the object it would be a great shot.

Mabe some additional light source would bring out detail and dimensionality. Bright and washed-out, moving to dark and murky. Great idea, though, and fits challenge nicely.

What a fabulous shot, so dramitic apart from the modern clamp on the bedpost.
