 Yeah, he's a little on the clean and well groomed side for a Chisholm Trail cowboy, but it IS a reenactment after all.

Post challenge notes:
This ended up only a touch lower than I had hoped for , but I'm not unhappy with it's placement at all.

I can't argue with any of the negative comments. Most of them are correct. The comments were a mix of like and don't like.

One of the folks in the group I visited the stockyards with dubbed this guy "Hollywood" because of his hollywood smile.

Somehow, he looks too happy. Cowboys are supposed to be tired, sore and dusty. :) But a nice portrait. A wider aperture giving a bit of background blur would improve the seperation of subject from background.
