 Shot in front of the Michigan State Capitol building in Lansing. Used an ND8 filter on overcast day. Manual WB.

Desaturated yellows, blues, cyans and magentas, and increased saturation a little on reds to make the front doors and flag stripes pop

The building itself is more tan in color. I knew the look I wanted -- near B&W while leaving the doors and flag colorized. By desaturating the primary colors except red, that left the doors and the red stripes to stand out. I also noticed that when I desaturated the blues, the stars on the flag became a little more noticeable - a bonus! Before, you couldn't see them on the resized version. The blue surrounding the stars drowned them out.

Very cool colering, neat subject and good angle. Makes the building look like its leaning over you. Flag really helps. Great work
