Beautiful colors and focus of the eye and droplets. Falls off a bit at the feet and you need that entire other foot to complete the framing.

DOF could have been increased a tad to get the rest of the head in focus, but other than that all techs look good. Compositionally I would like to see a little more space aboce the head.

Looks kinda shy to me! I like the lighting on the chest featuers - shows off the sheen the feathers have.

Good job of focusing on the face. I might have tried to crop the image a little better, having the feet cut off took a little away from me.

Very nice Mallard, especially in the eye and that lovely sheen on his head and chest. Rather classic not-looking-at-the-camera pose. I like his shadow; would have preferred both his feet and the whole shadow make it into the shot but that's picky.
