Thanks for all comments. orvaratli you are right I should have used that one, this is not the same picture I shot 4 pic of the Hut that night and the ljosmyndakeppni.is entry was best of them but I was not sure if I could use it here because it had already won there and on steves-digicam.com photo of the day to.

Congratulations with the top 10 finish. Superb image but I have to say that your ljosmyndakeppni.is entry was better processed. I think you should have entered that one.

Great aurora capture. The noise/pixelation in the rest of sky takes away from the otherwise stunning image.

WOW That is a striking shot. I love the contrast of the bright green and saturated blue aginst the muted ground.
