Nature takes a break from perfection and shows us variegation. The red leaves show up well as they are juxtaposed against the dark bark and forest beyond. I have a history of getting so excited by my subject I forget about the background. There are many repeated shapes and colors as the branch cuts diagonally across the scene. Copyrighted
