I put an entry in early and was resolved to keep it there ... and then today I FINALLY got a great shot of a Tufted Titmouse in my backyard, which I've been trying to do for at least a year. They rarely hold still for more than a split second, but they have the cutest eyes and that adorable little tuft. They're not bright or colorful or rare, and I don't expect this to beat a flying Bald Eagle or anything, but I am *very* proud of it!!

Love this pose much better than a classic profile.

Had the teleconverter on so I was zoomed in at 420mm.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, colored part of upper branch grey and cloned out tip of it near the bird's head, dodged/burnt bird (especially on feet where there was some fuzz from a branch in the way), colored bit of food yellow so it was clear it was not part of the beak, dodged/burnt/colored branch (again compensating for the foreground branch fuzz), increased saturation, blurred background some more to get rid of noise, added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction, blurred out remaining noise in background.

Ooops, I see now that I really gave it a 10. I'm new to DP, and just now found out that the red bar is how I voted, so ignore my last comment about the "nine". Ginny

I am surprised it didn't do better. It was one of my favorites and I gave it a nine.

Reading your brief I now understand why I left the comment Slightly oof, shooting with a tele coverter as I learned from experience can do this at that distance, well done on your perseverance to get a good shot.

Nice shot but a different POV, IMO, would of helped.

Stunning... I love the pose of the bird and the composition formed from it's turned body and the branch; the light in it's eye and on it's beak is lovely as is the berry in it's beak and the colour palette of the image as a whole is lovely.

I like the composition of the branches, IMO this would be stronger if the bird didn't have the food in its' mouth

A little soft, not quite popping sharp. But everything else is very nice.

A cute little bird and a good capture to get him with a seed/berry in his mouth.

Lovely background to really highlight this guy nicely - and I love the little twig there, too.
