Shot in jpeg at a local park after seeing some good old Georgia snow. This was the only good picture I could find from my weekend that was framed. Converted to black and white. Adjusted brightness/contrast. I was originally pretty disappointed with this but after being converted to black and white I was much happier with the mood of the photo. This site sure is making me work a lot harder when I'm shooting!

Here's a couple of trees that work ok for framing. :) Looks like a pretty scene. I'm losing a sense of depth perception somewhat. I think it's because the tree on the right is not giving a clear break and is blending in? I'm a fan of B&W and this may have been the best approach, no idea without seeing it in color. I do wonder tho if color would have given more depth to this. Just some observations. Still a lovely image. Good luck in the challenge.

I see the frame (trees)...almost didn't as they didn't stand out too much. But, I don't know what else you could do in basic. Good shot!

The picture is quite busy and dark. Even after reading the title I can't really make out that it's a stream.

I don't feel that B & W does it for this.

This is very pretty, and I like the use of the trees in framing, as well as being able to tell what the frame *is*, not losing focus of it, but including it as well as the framed object.

a little blurry, and the crop for 'framing' looks forced.

Love the narrowness of the crop, although I might have removed more of the tree on the left, love the texture and B&W...
