It is what it is - a lovely moment in time, a series of semi-revealed silhouettes, gleaming molten metal on water. IMO, what it is not is a subject for revealing detail in the buildings via HDR processing. This is a natural look which the human eye and mind recognize. HDR is not and IMO does little to help an image (unless it is used for forensic police work). It's a nice photo. |

Well, this is a beautiful sky. I love the sillhouette of the buildings, it is beautiful. I think this image is great, and you are probably right, it wouldn't be the best for the "Best of 2007" challenge, but I think it is great. Im trying to decide what the focus should be on this photo. Is it the sky? Buildings? I think there is too much sky here, try cropping a little off and see what that looks like. |
